Hi

Just found out about your site a week ago. Lots of good info.
I used to fish salmon and steelhead when i lived up north. Now i am in Florida and
fish saltwater every week. I try and fish steel every year.
Hope to add something to the site and learn from everyone.

Welcome meanpressure!

Trying to figure out whether the "mean" in your handle is "mean" as in "somewhere in the middle" or "mean" as it "ornery, nasty, hard to get along with." Grin

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I am on the gulf of mexico. Southwest florida. I havent tried jig and float fishing for snook or reds yet.
I do drift fish with the jigs though, and it works great for snook. Are the majority of the members from the west coast?

I forgot all about those amazing snook, redfish and sea trout...even more cool.  Cool  I'd say just about all the Notebook members are from WA/OR/BC...with a few exceptions.

Always good to diversify the member base a little. Welcome to the board!  Wink

We do have a guy Kurtis in Germany, though. Oh, and MADFISHER from China. I think we lost that guy with the domain switch, though.  Undecided

Hey, I remember madfisher. He was the guy who had all those huge carp. Shocked I wondered what happened to him.
