Today's hint of Rain got more then just me excited, I arrived at the River at about 2:00 this afternoon to find five other rigs and two at the other trail head.

Upon hitting the Dike and heading up river I ran into Marty again we B.S.ed a bit and I could see several other guys above so I decided to venture down stream. I didn't see much other then a bunch of Chum, I then ran into Jaime(Maverick) it was nice to finally meet you in person Jaime, did you hook up with any thing above?

As I worked my way back up river I hit a nice seam and had a little pop at my float set the hook nothing stole my Prawn Hmmmm, now I'm stoked as most Bobber Downs have been the old kerplunk straight down take from the Salmon lately, so I re prawn and on my second cast bobber down it turned out to be this little guy, oh well at least it was some action, and that was it for the day as darkness set in.

What a pretty little guy John.  Check it out, he's so heavily spotted, he even has them on the adipose fin!  Let's go find his bigger, older cousin!! Wink

Thanks Jaime, and I like the fact you called me stealthy.....I think of myself more as a bumble in the rocks  laugh  Anyway, after getting worn out with chums a bit below, I decided to head back up in search of more steelie looking water  Wink.  My first good drift, and it was float down.  This ones a bit more satisfying as it took a homemade maribou jig, tied with the colors I use to make up my steelhead rags.  Pic is not great, but she was a nice bright fish, a solid 9 +  Cool   Good seeing you again Jaime
