I am planning a trip to pacific beach with the wife for some much needed r&r away from the kids, she mentioned that she wouldn't mind fishing one of the days that we will be there, so I was wondering if any one new what river allows for the best bank fishing access up there in that area.  any info that you could share would be appriciated

We plan on going the middle of next week.  We will still fish come hell or high water, probably the high water from the looks of it.  Its not all about catching fish, witch would be nice, we just want to find a river that we can fish from the bank and enjoy ourselfs.

The Humptulips is close to where you will be. There is some decent bank access around Hwy 101 and down by the hatchery at Stevens Creek. The creek may be a better bet than the river if the rains continue...Good Luck!

If you have the cash.....Hire a guide on one of the rivers. Another option might be the Quinault....The lower section you will need a guide from the Quinault Nation but it is worth it....Not much fishing pressure and lots of fish this time of year. Try Letty or Robbin

Good Luck.
