Here is some info on adding photos to your posts.

If you still can't figure out how to post pics, e-mail them to me and I will post them for you. I'd like to see the shape of the water, .....photos tell a good story! Wink

If you can't add photos then maybe a better descriptions of water visibility, height etc. would be nice info for any of the guys that may be thinking of running down there.

Maybe the graph is right now?  Guess nothing is better than giving it a try.  Glad you found some fish!

I too was out at the Carbon today, in Orting near the water treatment plant. However unlike you, I came back empty handed--the river is moving quite swiftly. There aren't so many pools compared to when the river is lower. I would say the river level still needs to come down a bit.

the vis/ was murky not too bad early this moring but it started getting more dirty later on in the day.
my dad is the one that landed the one,  it was a pretty good fight, last week my girlfreind and i were over there fishing and we say this old man catch a nice native buck, then the water just got too high.

The river is still blown--the glacier melt is appears just a little too much right now with the recent rain and warmer tempratures (more rain on the way according to the forecast too). Visibility is probably about 18 inches right now; however, the water is brown--it doesn't have that nice 'green' look to it.

Personally, I just got tired of waiting...just had to get out an give'er a try regardless.
