I have a Patagonia that is 11 years old,I have to treat it every 2 years so it sheds water.
If it ever wears out I would buy the same jacket

I am expecting delivery of the Cabela's Gore-Tex Wading Jacket on Thursday.  I believe it is around $150.00.

After getting soaked to the bone with my Columbia Sportswear rain jacket I bit the bullet last year and bought the Cabela's Guide Wear jacket.  By far the nicest, ie; dryest jacket I've ever worn.  Definetly worth the cash.

If you are aware of the best then you dont need to know anything else.... The G3 is the best rain coat you will ever own period. I have fished days that would blow your mind in amount of rain and that thing has kept me dry.
