Nice fish Shane.  I like the avatar, should we call you Shana now.

Cal, I hate to tell ya but that avatar picture looks nothing like you.

Woah, there, DR. Total misunderstanding:

In zonker's thread on grousing, cheap shots, and whining, there was some discussion of guys on other boards that post pure glory shots. You said, jokingly (I'm pretty dang sure it was jokingly), something to the effect of, "I guess it's time for me to go..." Then I said something like, "nah, I enjoy your posts anyway" (still playing on the sarcasm).

I was going back to that in my "see?" remark. I was not at all implying you should have included a location.

I couldn't care less where you caught those fish. You told a great story and included some great pics--that's the best kind of report, in my opinion. I could definitely appreciate the bit on the cold (yesterday morning must have been one of the coldest trips I've ever had). I love finding my own water, and, though all the regular readers here know I fish the Green, you will never see a location beyond that, because I, too, realize the power of the internet. I'd rather not find myself sharing my favorite holes with 20 other guys.  Roll Eyes

Without some serious technological advances, there will always be misunderstandings in online communication. Inflection and body language is at least half of how we converse. You just can't simulate those things, even with the help of emoticons.  Grin
