Real Men Dont Cry

« Reply #1: January 14, 2005, 05:59:35 PM »

I just thought that I would add something that I have tried lately regarding bead jigs. I didnt want the hassle of drilling beads and trying to get them to stay right where I wanted them so I started using jensen eggs. As you know, jensens come in a few different colours that fish are known to like like pink, orange, chartruce, purple etc. Not only are they easy to get on but they also look awesome because some colours are nice and translucent, plus they have and anise scent in them already. I have tied up some jensen/schlappen bead heads and the first day that I tried them I landed a beauty 7 lb wild buck. Yesterday I tried them again and after a long day on the water I stopped in at a very popular hole and nailed a 13 lb hatch doe on the same one  Grin Just a thought for you guys to ponder and consider
