Special members or subscribing members? ........Big difference! If you want to know how to become a subscrbing member, follow this link: How to become a subscribing memberI finally did it and subscribed to Steelhead Notebook. Why? Because this is a site I visit again and again. I find being the old curmudgeon that I am, about 80 percent of the stuff available on the internet is pure trash. It really seems like just another way to get advertisements into our homes mostly for porn, gambling or questionable financial transactions. I love Steelhead fishing. I spend every free moment fishing, tying flies or talking about it with like minded fisherman. When I stumbled across this site I was looking for information about a specific river and got the Rivers section of the site. As I explored farther and read the threads I was impressed with the consistent quality of the posts and the advice offered to other fisherman. Mostly what impresses me about this site is the consistently positive tone in the vast majority of threads. Some sites seem devoted to blaming and complaining about everything that impacts our sport with very little in the way of constructive engagement. I enjoy reading all of your posts and look forward to meeting more of you on the water. Keep up the great work Brian and al, love this site. Steve. AKA Green Butt

~Mike~ There are a few kinds of steelhead fishing; fly, float, drift, spoon, spinner, plugs, boondoggin, bobberdoggin,.... and then there is float fishing in 18\" of water. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
