I made the mistake of going on a day trip with Brian last fall, haven't been the same since.
Haven't really been on very many rivers yet, but see a lot of sick days in the near future.
The only river that I'm familiar with seems to have had a pretty rough winter and appears that it may not be usable this fall.  Any thoughts Brian?

Big Mike
Welcome

I have been out with Brian a few times now.  The only mistake I have make is letting the 6'-2" man pick where my 5'-6" body crosses the river.  Needless to say I have had to double back plenty of times.

Welcome, Big Mike.  Better have your hiking gear on when fishing with Brian!

If you are thinking where I'm thinking you're thinking, there is much less fishable water, but below and above there is still good water.

Glad to see you here Mike! We had a good day last fall, hope you enjoyed the trip. Grin

Don't worry about this fall, the river will still fish well then!  great

My summer has been off to a slow start, but I have a feeling that is about to change! Wink

i know what river you are talking about.
who is advertising this thing, there have been so many guys on it . it has been pulling a few fish but man i stopped by one of the more popular holes and saw 11 cars parked at it. i usually hike a long ways to get away from the people but i have never seen it so crowded. yeah i'm whinning sorry Grin , it is just frustrating  but i love that river and it never got much pressure even a few years ago{ ok maybe 5-7 years}, hell i have seen a handful of guides working it now. i saw 7 guys bring nates out of it 2 winters ago, ,  i confronted 1 guy about his dead nate and he said that he learned about that river from a guide that took him there, i believe the guide was from kelso, anyway he say he was told you could keep fish in there. i told him his fish was illegal and he didn't believe me.{ he was rather rude} i got liscense #'s and called the gamies on all the violaters i saw, i don't know if they do much but it is sad.

sorry to sound like a big baby :'( but it is a sore spot for me.  it should fish o.k later this year so good luck big mike.
