So my free spinners came in the mail today (THANKS Brain rvrfsher products) and Im leaving for the OP tomarrow for some summer steelhead action but before I went I need help learning to build these spinners.  I think they are the #3 brass rvrwhirlers with the wires, beads, o rings, and swivles and sickle hooks.  I know how the whole blade thing works but what I need help with is an order to stack what on what.(For example, silde the brass body down the wire with the bend, then bead, then blade?)  So if someone could tell me step by step how to builde these spinners it would mean a lot, thanks.

  Jake

PS:  Can someone also tell me how to use this rootbeer tape and bend the wire so the pieces dont slide off, thanks again.

hey queets guy. I felt the same way several months ago when i first got my spinners from Joe. Thankfully, this site is awesome and had a great tutorial on how to build your own spinners. It can be found here....

Hope this helps and good luck out at the OP!

Thanks a lot Bob, that really helped me a lot.  That will be saved under my favorites for then next kit of rvrfshr spinners I order.  I really like this spinner building thing, its a whole lot easier than tying flies and jigs.  And with the root beer tape do you just cut it in a small piece and stick it on eventhough it has the rvrfshr logo on it?  Which works better, sticking it on the outside or inside of the blade?

No problem. Yeah, stick it on the inside of the blade (I had originally thought outside, but was corrected) Smiley ...wouldn't want to cover up Joe's logo anyways Cheesy Might try some green tape too....

I didn't know that the tape was for the spinner blades...Huh

I thought the tape w/the logo was for pasting on the back of my car windshield...

I put stickers on either side, sometimes both...not because it works better, but mainly just to piss off Joe.

P.S.  AD, when does the moratorium on Big Head Blues Brother Dancing Dude end?  This would have been a perfect spot for it...rat-a-tat-tooey.

No I meant the rvrfshr logo on the actual tape so it would be a root beer color with a little silver in it.  Oh well I dont think it would matter anyways.

Didn't notice "clevises" in your list of included parts, QG. Hope you didn't get rvrshortchanged.

The tutorial is good. About the tape, you can put it on the inside or outside of the blade. Rootbeer on the outside should be effective this time of year. You could cut down the decal that was sent, but those are supposed to go on your car or lunchbox. The normal tape is a sheet of pre-cut ovals.

Moratorium still in effect, T, although I'd think you'd be holding off voluntarily after your trip to Piscatorial's moon.

I think I need to update the tutorial pics with some new ones featuring rvrwhirler components! I'll see if I can't do that soon.

Leg is fine until I fall again or try to jump. Thx 4 asking.

If Brian will add the Hawaiian hula lady or Chewbaca to the site-availables, they're fair game. Blues brothers still out.
