An adipose fin is a beautiful thing!

Rod and reel found on the Bogachiel between Crescent and IceBox on Friday morning...reeled it right up out of the river.

If you lost one there in the past week or so, lemme know what it was and I'll get it back to ya...

Brian, the Bogie was pretty much dead...a few fish around, but nothing worth traveling for...after the snow melts today and it starts to rain in earnest tomorrow, it'll be done for several days, anyway...but ought to be chock full o' bananas after that!

Zipperlip angling on Wednesday provided me with my first November wild winter run in over a decade, though!

Wild not native, Todd? Hard to know in November, I guess.

I would be interested to see a picture of the fish, sans glory.

Thx,
Andrew

No glory, since I was solo angling on the zipper, but I did get a couple shots of it up in the bushes after I kicked it up there.

Fish on...

Todd

P.S.  For the humor challenged, I'm kidding.  I really did catch a wild November winter run, but not only did I let it go, but I didn't hardly kick it at all, and it got nowhere near the bushes, even after I kicked it.

P.P.S.  Kidding again, I didn't kick it at all, not even a little.  I do have a couple pics, though...pretty little fish.

Well, seein's how yous got to be a 'scribin' member here to upload pics, and I ain't one, you'll have to go elsewhere to see it...though I haven't posted pics of it anywhere yet...have no fear, no zipperlip characteristics will be displayed in the pics.

I didn't lose a rod/reel but I did lose a fish and my fish holder Saturday! Stowed it in the bushes next to Bmacs and when we came back, it was gone!  Huh I am thinking Brian stole it or maybe a sasquatch  chewy or something?  Grin Actually probably was some kind of animal or bird or? First time I ever lost a fish though!

Well that makes #2 on the Nov. nates as Stam got 1 back a few weeks fishing with Pat G. His buck went 17-18 lbs of chrome with just a blush on the gill plates.... Grin

"Not true Kimosabi..."

Whattayaknow?  Though I try hard to avoid it, I usually end up learning something new every day.

Not the best pics, but when you're by yourself in the pouring down rain, you take what you can get.

Not exactly a 17 pounder, but not bad, either...and no "blush" on this one...all chrome...and, yes, that's a Rvrfshr 50/50 in it's chops.

Fish on...

Todd

Nice fish. I don't know much about chambers-origin spotting, but I would probably have called that one a legitimate native if I had caught it (skeptical since somebody else did, naturally, and what do I know anyway). Regardless, makes me really happy to see a fish like that from there right now.  great

I think there usta coulda been a lot more November nates... Hatchery on.  rain

It was a native, not just a wild one, as far as I could tell...AD, you can probably guess what river it came from, so the Chambers Creek possibility never really existed for this one...

The pics aren't so hot for showing the fish off, unfortunately, but it was about as pretty as they come on that river, and the wild fish there are pretty distinctive, especially the hens.

That's the only fish you got after paying $50 bucks for access to Cook Cr. ?
