Went to the vedder today, water was cold 42 degrees and there was the perfect 3 feet of visibility in the drool green colour. Fished hard for 6 hours, and found some new water that looks like it will produce later in the year. It's still a little early i think, we managed to land one and i lost another but everybody else that we saw had nothin. (26 guys) we walked alot today spent mabey 20 minutes at each run/spot, covered alot of water. Fish were taken on kramers pink worms. if any body knows the river we walked from "on the way" down to "peach road" approximately 2 miles

A tip that i learned a long time ago is u dont fish for steelhead u hunt for them. Takes some luck and alot of skill to be able to get these searun rainbows.

Sorry guys, i had to remove the pics as a request from my friend.

younggun, I find it quite odd you report on this site you landed one and lost one but as testo posted your report from the other site says no fish. I've noticed this in a few of your reports here. BUSTED Grin

Well seems how the porn is gone Ill add a pic to give this thread a burst of life. The pic has been cropped to keep my spot a secret (well so YG doesn't find out where the fish are LOL) Me and a buddy hit the river on Dec 30 hit it hard for a few hours then checked out a spot that we were both thinking about for 2 trips. Hike into the spot look around, OMG amazingly no one is fishing this beautiful spot. We fish the spot thoroughly, me fishing it a little faster than normal. While I'm walking down river I hear my name yelled, turn around to see my buddies rod dancing like crazy with a chrome bullet aiming for the sky. 5 minute battle and maybe 20 yards down stream to a decent spot to tail a fish and theres a nice 7.5lb doe on the beach. My buddies first of the season so it gets the shampoo.

Hey YG why do you try so hard to impress people? Someone who posts another fish and calls it his own must be insecure. Who are you trying to impress? Just so this post doesn't get deleted I beter chip in something, I have 2 landed 1 hatchery doe bonked and a 12 pound wild and another possible steelhead lost. Good start to the year so far. I also guided my friend into a 7 pound Bull trout this evening. I wish i could find those with more regularity
