Went down to oregon and got some sweeeeeeeet steelhead,

first fish of the trip was a 3lb jack by my father, buck.
no pick because it was only a jack.
The a buddy got a 6lber, hen

Next I got a 13-14 lber how much do you think it weighed, hen
OREGON FISH AND LEGAL OUT OF THE WATER!!!!

Then I got an 11lb buck

Then I got a 13-14lb buck

Then my dad got a 9lb hen

Then he got a 10lb hen





All fish safely released and caught off of roe.

There are a few kinds of steelhead fishing; fly, float, drift, spoon, spinner, plugs, boondoggin, bobberdoggin,.... and then there is float fishing in 18\" of water.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Afro

Plenty of Nates to play with and sunshine to boot,I am jealous.....Nice job on some gorgeous steel.Drove out to Port Townsend to visit family and I saw snow,hail and more snow.Got to love Washington this time of year.Oregon is looking pretty good right now... Grin

Way to go guys! Some nice looking fish there. Not sure what the regs are on the river you were fishing, but regardless it's nice to see pics of that many nates and your report of them being released.  great What area of the Oregon coast were you fishing? Just curious because I'm from Coos Bay/North Bend and I hear the fishing has been pretty hot down there. I was hoping to get out when I was home a few weeks ago but the rivers were blown out. Thanks again for sharing!
