are u kidding me, they're right under the seam all the way down the middle of the run, the tailout is 2ft deep. go fish the slot on the other side, see how many u pull out of there. And ya i've watched/caught them in ways.

... u'll be amazed at how big an offering a steelhead will hit, alot of guys use the #3, 4's, but a steely will hit both a #5 colorado or french blade like its nothing.


ooohhh... French blade under a float too, huh?  I've got a bunch of those.

I was thinking that Colorado or Indiana blades were preferred for the blade/splitring/swivels setup under a float, but if they will hit French blades too under a float, then I'm set.

how does the blade under a float thing work? do you put it on your leader then put your eggs or shrimp on, or are you fishing just the float with the blade below it a ways?

ur setup is the blade then a 18-28inch leader, then a barrel swivel, weight and then the float above it all to control the depth of the presentation

ya but u'd be relying on colour instead of flash to bring fish in, and we all know flash travels alot farther in the water than colour
