I don't have time for a tutorial right now but I have been tying a few of the little poodles. Not the best fifi pic but again, time is short. The little mean looking ones in the front (doggies with an attitude) are tied with antron trilobal chenille and not glo bug yarn. Makes for a smaller profile pooch. The row in the back is tied with the regular glo bug stuff (though I think the ones on the right need a better hair cut.) The sparkly tails didn't do much for the picture but they look good in the water. The tails are crystal flash. Other flies in the periphery are summer steelhead flies.

If Bugs is willing to do the tut I'll stand by. If not maybe I can put something together later in the week or next week.

We do have some excellent fly tyers in our circle here, so I'd be glad to see their efforts here rather than mine. If not and there are absolutely no takers, I'll give it a shot.

Anybody? Dardevle? Fllyfishy? Chumdog? Rvrfshr?

That would be great Zonker.  This is what makes this site run!!!   People helping people.

My tying skills are pretty bad, but I have a decent vice and supplies.....I just need some "coaching"

thanks.

Nice eggs, zonk...was it you who called me "obsessed" the other day?  Grin

I'd be happy to shoot some pics and put together a tutorial on tying these little gems...give me a week or two to find a little time.  great

Matt,

It's easy for one junkie to call another junkie "hooked." But it's meaningless. Grin Grin

I look forward to your tutorial.
