If you ever use a dink float and hate having to rap the line around the dink which cuts it in half(rigged mine wrong so never had this happen  Grin)

Take like the small hair bands or like the dental rubber bands.. Wrap em around the float where the line is!!! IT works pretty well!!!

the line doesn't cut the dink, unless ur fighting a spring, or snag, they get marks in them. But good tip for the elastic, seen a few dinks with elastics on them wondering y.

Good tip! Personally, I have rarely had a problem with the line cutting through the dinks... and I always use the wrap around style, but I have seen this setup used with good results as well.

Naother way that most of us have on hand is to take BLACK ELECTIC tape and wrape a round the floats.. I am a very avid float fisherman for all types of fish and have even had 8-10 Shocked silvers do a number on my dink floats... I have up graded to balsa slip floats for most of my fishing...

salmonking if ur a balsa guy, do u make ur own, if not check out the DNE balsa's, they're heavy duty, 20-40grams and have been laminated or varnished well, heavy duty coating. good price and super sensitive
