if it rained it would melt the snow, causing the rivers to become freezing cold with the run off, and by the time they warmed up they'd be low again, i say it stays the way it is, until the temps can sustain the warmth.

over a foot out here at offut lake..finally got to enjoy it today and walked up behind a locked gate to check my trailcam and see if i could cut any fresh blacktail tracks.

did someone say blacktail by offut lake. i do an aweful lot of hunting down that way. it is aweful fun trackin' critters in the snow. fishpimp jr and i were out coyote hunting last week in it. what a blast. lots of bunny and deer tracks.  no 'yotes would cooperate but it was still fun.
we have a ton more snow then earlier when i posted.  o-boy

o yeah, welcome philpack33.

Fishpimp, here's a little spike in my backyard.  He was about 50 yards away from the porch.  Saw a few of them back there today.  My dog loves the word "deer"!

There are a few kinds of steelhead fishing; fly, float, drift, spoon, spinner, plugs, boondoggin, bobberdoggin,.... and then there is float fishing in 18\" of water.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Afro

Thats funny, our deer have completely disappeared.  We usually have them year around.  The first big winter storm pushes them somewhere... probably lower.

seen a couple big does along wiggins rd. in lacey last night on the way to the old lady's house, i should have paid better attention to the road because i caught the edge of the snowbank and put my truck in the ditch laugh  4-lo comes in handy sometimes!
