I fish the carbon, sometimes.. Just haven't for the last couple of years. I might get back into it tho.  Wink It's a great little river to learn, IMO.

I know someone that works at the hatchery and they said maybe only one steelhead has made it there.

I didnt even know there were hatchery fish in the carbon at all, i have only caught native fish there, i thought the hatchery on the carbon was only a salmon hatchery i didnt know they did trout too ?
