well yall it finally happened i Dan the guide finally became a father on 03-10-09 at 3:03 am to a beautiful baby girl of 8lb 6oz it was quite the ordeal but wow how something so little can change you're whole perspective on life if i knew that having a new baby would make me happy id have had one long ago and maby saved my self some angered days well she is hopfully going to be the next April vokey of the fishing world she is already acquiring a arsenal of fishing gear from 2 custom made rods by her daddy and a great set of attire hand made by her mom. maby I'm getting a little ahead of my self but when you have been fishing since you learned to walk don't you think it would be cool to see you're Lil girl or boy rite next to you looking at you some day saying maby next time dad you will catch one wow i think i would be able to take getting skunked in stride at that point well yall i just wanted to send my happiness to all who might be having a hard time rite now. stop and take a look at the Lil things and love the ones you're close to keep yer head up and and smile i did it and i use to be a real ass hole well thank you for reading this and god bless till next time hook em up and get bent Dans guided trips p.s pics on the way «Edited: March 17, 2009, 12:21:24 PM by dansguidedtrips » |

Congrats Dan, although never the actual recipient of a little blessing like yours, I have had the blessing of being able to share the joys of being an uncle to them. I promise you this as a small gift to your new fishing buddy. I promise to leave my natives so that she will have the chance to catch them as well  .  Dan, Congradulations,I remember the exact feeling yer going threw at this moment,its a Wonderful feeling,even tho it was over 18 years ago now,I still fill that warmth inside.Cant wait to see some pics,a new fishing buddy in the making  I remember i took this pic of my son w/a hot dog & a empty can of beer out at Riffe lake years ago,when his mom got the pictures developed,i had to explain over&over agian that the beer was empty,but just look at his smile back then.Best Wishs for you Dan Bank Bum

Congratulations on joining a very special world. Your life will be different from now on in a good way. Little girls are special. I have one of each and have a special relationship with each. When my little (40) girl calls me "daddy" it still brings a special feeling to me. As for fishing with your kids, it is a special time for me when I can wet a line with my son, who is busy raising a family of his own, working and being a husband. So I treasure my time with him. yes Toni it is and yeah yer rite she did take after her mom cause im ugly as sin. and yes im taking very good care of her . heck so good she even told me to go fishing and let her rest lol
