Seems clear that darker colors are the prefered. I presume that the sizes are smaller than typical winter jigs. And is Fifi a jig, or a fly??

Nick, I typically think smaller and darker for summer runs, this holds more true as the rivers reach their summer low levels. That being said a couple of years ago on my favorite summer run stream, a cerise/ hot pink rabbit fur jig was the hottest color combination for me.  Wink That coincides with the old saying, bright lures on bright days, as most of these fish were caught in the middel of a bright sunny day! Fifi is actually a single egg type fly patter that many folks will use as a dropper fly off of their jig. Works just as well by itself in low water.
