« Topic Start: April 20, 2009, 08:12:49 AM »

me and bankbum headed back up to the op for the weekend. saturday started off good. the wheather was just right and the fish were bitting. I went 0 for 2 on saturday  Sad and bankbum went 1 for 2. he landed a nice big 16 pound chrome nate on drift gear. this hole were he caught it, the last two times down the river he pulled fish out of it! sunday was perfect. the wheather at 60 degrees and no rain. I was pullin a plug down through this nice slot when WHAM! my plug rod tacoed over and the fight was on. I was pretty excited because i have put in many hours this year alone pulling plugs without nothing. so i was really proud of this fish. i had one other hit on my plug rod with the fish being on for about one minute and the deciding to go look at that big steel cable on the bottom and wrap me up  Cry. bankbum lost two fish. All in all it was a great weekend. here's some pics from our journey. oh and the V.B. hats   Cool

Oh and btw i caught a pig...about 4 inches long he ate my hook lol he was caught and released safely but i couldnt help but snap a shot  Wink
