can not come fast enough  Cry im already sick of trout fishing. I tyed up 40 leaders monday and another forty today! Im already well prepared for the opener. I got enough hooks tyed for me and Bankbum to last a little while  Wink God i cant wait for summer runs! Im praying to the fish gods every day for a killer season.  Grin what have you guys been doing to pass the time? Ive been dying over here!

dang you have been busy!  i know what you mean, i have been sick of trout for almost 2 decades  laugh . we have been beating on some nice smallies and that is about it. my favorite summer run river is suposed to have a near zero return . this is not my happy face.

No such thing as "to pass the time" in my world.  Sad

However, if I could pass the time, my mangled mess of used worm leaders and mooching rigs thrown on top of the work bench would be properly dealt with, and I would have a few rolls of summer run rags done up for the early season run-off.

The simplicity of late summer outings to the Green become more and more appealing, especially since this is the last year we'll enjoy a good summer run fishery.

replace "work bench" with "kitchen table" and you have my situation...ahhh, the single, unemployed life....

i was going to make a little test trip to my best producer this morning, but the weather had other ideas.  i'm fairly sure i can scratch one out when it comes back down.
