Hello guys I'm going to the Wenatchee River  hear in a couple of weeks and I'm gonna just bringing my fly rod and duke it out and i was wondering what do you think would be the best flys to use ? sinking or floating, i was leaning more towards floating my self, but is there any chosen patters you would use over other ones ?

In the summer i just take a box of caddis dries and a box of mayfly dries.  Hard to go wrong with a #14 or 16 elk hair caddis in tan or olive, or a #14 or 16 parachute adams in grey or olive.

It is hard to say; most fly selection depends on the hatch the particular river or body of water is having. Aside from that, things such as parachute adams and stimulators do not immatate any single bug, rather they mimic a wide range of insects.
