Spent the last long weekend out on the coast with Bluenoodle,One More Cast, and a morning with Cutts.
Thanks guys for a great time........Weather was great, food was great,Company was great, and the fishing was pretty good too. I will have to say though, that One More Cast put on a demo of how to "Get- R- Done"
For his freshman year, Bluenoodle did excellent(much better than I did my 1st year) And I finally performed at a respectable level. The ticket this year was 1/20th of an ounce jigs,as the water was very low and clear with "Stagnant Water" Conditions.......... laugh laugh

I learned a few more tricks from OMC and was finally able to have my Revenge that I have been waiting a whole year for. Tongue

Heres a multitude of Pict's for your enjoyment pleasure.I actually caught one of these buggers on a #2 Rvrwrl in black chrome and that was pretty cool as it is usually a jig deal since I have been there.

Thanks to Fish Pimp for his tips and "Special Jigs", prior to my trip,to give them something different to look at.

One thing to remember is take a minute to enjoy your surrounding on your peninsula trips, enjoy your friendships, and RELAX....Life is short and we all need to get away once in a while to really see what life is about and enjoy Nature and its gifts.......

Enjoy the Pict's.....

Man, I would find it hard to fish that type of water considering it has no character.  When you guys mentioned stagnet you weren't kidding.  laugh  Nice job on the fish, and hopfully even better eating.  Wink

what a great time it was!!!   It was so good that i develeped an eye problem.  I couldn't see myself going to work for the rest of the week.   (thanks for that excuse Dale).   I ended up getting twelve hatchery banana's and one native.   such a good time to spend some time camping and fishing.  This will fill the freezer with meat.  now its time switch back to normal steelhead fishing tactics.   Pictures and video to fallow.  I caught a buck one day that jumped 5 times on video.  some jumps were probably 4ft in the air.  Weather was great, camping was great, fishing was good but tough at times.
