I have been out and about messing with some pinks in the south sound and they are a blast....im not gonna hide it.   Cool  A 5wt and a mess of humpys will make for a great morning in my book.  Iv'e got on some big schools with not many other boats around and it made for a fun and enjoyable morning.  Speaking of which I will be out there tomarrow chasing down some humps.  Wink   Btw I really could use a silver like the one above, I can't locate any good pods of coho around.  I may have to make a day and venture north here soon.

It was my daughter's 10th birthday and she wanted to go fishing in a river with just dad.  I gave her a new reel first thing in the morning and we headed down to the Puyallup with the hoards, found some space at the beginning of the line where she might not get tangled much.  She was really excited because she hooked and landed fish all by herself.  She said it was the best birthday ever and wants to go fishing every year - every other for pinks.  We both had a lot of fun and she told me she was glad that fishing was "our thing" to do together.  The smoker is fired up so her birthday will last until next year.

Humpies aren't so bad.
