What this year's brat return is shaping up to be?  If these cricks don't get a rest from the firehose, winter grocery season is looking to be a complete bust.  It's December in just a couple days!  Those of you that know me well enough know that I love whackin' and stackin' those hatchery slime rockets.  Here's to a "fishy" February - April.  Let's hope our coastal rivers can recover by then and I can at least deposit a buck or two into my freezer before the big boys arrive Undecided

There are a few kinds of steelhead fishing; fly, float, drift, spoon, spinner, plugs, boondoggin, bobberdoggin,.... and then there is float fishing in 18\" of water.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Afro

There have been a couple small windows of fishing but man they've been small! I'm out here now for T-day with the gf's family on the upper Bogey and it's been straight pouring all day and night...

Sometimes Brad I really hate you. And by hate I mean even if it is pouring you are there, while I am at work  Smiley. It's been frustrating to miss the windows because work has been blocking that chance. If I'm married to this job I think I need a divorce laugh

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and if you get the chance to hit the water, even better.

Think I will try to figure something out tomorrow.

I found one of those little open windows. And am thinking well have a fine hatchery season, sunk 3 chrome steelies in the brine tonite, glaze & smoke tomorrow.

Weather during the next week looks good for dropping rivers & full fish boxes.

i'm about ready to go nuts with all this rain and so much to do.  i think my fishing has been cut by about 90% since last year!

looks like i'm gonna have to ask the boss if i can start coming in a little late so i can get some more fishing at the local creek before work!  there's steelhead in there now, just waiting for it to drop into fishable shape...

I know, that's my only hope!  Course next week things will be prime, and of course it'll be the "week". Angry  All I need is one trip.  Just one.

I didn't find any fish today.    Sad  of course i was at target, fredmeyer, shopko and best buy with the wife.   The closest i will come to fish todayw will be my stop in at Cabelas.
