Need Help deciding on new G. Loomis Rod

Ok so I felt some up and could not find any of the new Steelhead series to hold. I decided on the GL3 1024C. I went with the medium power rather than the medium heavy. It just "felt" better. I did check out the IMX series and I just didn't like the handle. Can't figure out why Loomis changed the handles so much on that series. It's definitely lighter than the GL3's but I didn't notice it being much more sensitive for the extra 80 bucks.

Now all I have to do is wait until this Saturday so I can go put this bad boy to the test.

Went out and tested the new rod last Saturday and all i can say is it was worth every dollar I spent. I have never been happier with a fishing rod. This thing is simply amazing. You can feel everything. I wish I could describe how much better this rod is than your cheaper fishing rods. Within 10 minutes of getting started I had one on and as I was yelling for my son to get his butt down to me with the net I had let the line slack a little and ended up losing the fish. Then the next 2 I had on were not so lucky. The first was a native and released immediately , but the last was a nice 28 incher that went in the cooler. Was a very nice day and the bite was quite slow. We will be back again in a few weeks for some more action. This new Loomis is going to see a lot of action I can already tell.

I like my Loomis rods Too. But their again,I like my lamis,and other rods as well.........
Its all about the feel........... Certain rods just plain have it and others don't!

build one. i did a gl2 1024c and is about 3x better then any loomis i have fished.
