Pietros!  did you just say Pietros???  Now that does take me back...  After little league games we'd go eat a bunch of that greasy, salty, yummy pepperoni pizza!!  Play video games... ahh youth...  Thanks for taking me back! Grin

I'll have to stop in there one of these days.

Papa Pete's? Man I haven't eaten there in YEARS. When I stayed there to fish with Dan I kind of pissed my aunt off. She talked about dinner and I mentioned I was going to sneak out and grab a pizza. Good thing I was on the phone, because the air got cold, and had the smell of ozone. Things were silent for a second, and I quickly reminded her that she was my favorite aunt, and how much I loved her.

Got steak that night for dinner, but sweet Jesus you'd had thought I told her I was going to hit the prostitute house before I got there by her reaction. I guess next time I'm going to have to be a bit more crafty. The pizza there back in the day was to die for, glad to hear it's still good.

Mmmmm Pietros,...........what hooknose said. Takes me back to Little League days.

We also had a Shaky's here when I was a kid. Too bad those places didn't make the cut. Most pizza today from the big commercial places is terrible. Save maybe Papa Murphy's  Grin

Loved both those places Grizz.Shaky's was were my buddy and I perfected our Asteroids game. Used to play all night on one quarter. Used to get it down to one asteroid then just shoot the little space ships and build up ships until we had the screen full, then sell the game for a quarter when we left. Ah, pitcher of pop,Nice large pizza of beef, onion, and fresh tomato's. then head on over to Tiffany's skating ring to play foosball and pick up some galls. Memories, Memories............... Cool

Back off topic...Shakey's rocked in my town. Old movies, and watching the guys make the pizza was cool as a kid. Video games, well that reminds me of the bowling alley. We were not allowed to play the games, so I passed my time watching other people play Defender all night. The most painful was watching my step father play it once, and never have the decency to even let me try it! Angry

God I hate my parents.

Hey Justin,

I think you should just drink your meals. Then take a nap on the bank while your buddies get there limit. LOL laugh

the dinger is good but a little on the pricey side for burgers.  on the up side they've got green river in the fountain!

red rooster on the way up that way has good food, haven't been in there in a long time.  it's the kind of place where you'd expect to see a band playing behind chicken wire.

alexander's grill in hoquiam has outstanding eats, and really reasonable prices.  they're across from the hardware store on 7th street.

I remember stopping by the Red Rooster one Cold Fall day, after a day on the Humps.Wind blowing sideways, leaves coming down, and fish coming up in huge schools! One of the best days of salmon fishing ever!
Caught Kings(40-50 lb average) silvers up to 20lbs,Chum in the mix,and even a Steelhead or two. Absolutely heaven on earth(when it comes to a fisherman's dream) but as we pulled in and grabbed a bar stool,we realized that the only warm place in that place was the chilly. Soaked from the rain and wind, and cold from the nasty weather we figured it would at least have a nice hot fire burning but No such luck, the bartender had a coat on and it was brutally cold in there. Never again for me,Lots more places to stop on the way home from the Humps.

Ah, but what a day of fishing.Tough to even come close to Any more..............  Wink

The pitchers of Mac & Jacks Amber for me, a salad loaded with blue cheese and a combination pizza is the ticket from Pacific Pizza.  The rest of the time i like thrifty mart for getting camp fire food or the "good deals".

Justin once ate 1 to 2lbs of of marked down potato salad and an entire styro foam tray of imitation crab meat  on the way back to the river for something like 2 bucks.    laugh    There was a trip to the woods that this outhouse pretty much sums things up.
