Going to float the East Fork of the Satsop Saturday for the first time this year from Decker Creek to the confluence, is their anything I have to worry about because of the floods last week? I will be fishing out of a 10ft Catacraft. Thanks for any info you might have.

Theres a pinch point about 2/3 of the way down but other than that pretty easy.  Stay right when you see the logs going across the river.   I havent been above Cook Creek.  Oh yeah and bring earmuffs if you want quiet.

No worries there...note to you and others, though, there is an impassable log jam between Schaeffer and Decker...you have to go far right, down the skinny channel, and drag across the bar to the left, below the log jam.  Almost all the water goes left, but you CAN NOT.  Don't try to.

Fish on...
