so today i took the day off and took my dad and my brother for some summer run action after the stellar opener goose nwretics and i had. well my dad isnt much of a fisherman, unless he's sidedrifting out of my sled he is terrible and my older brother has never been steelhead fishing as he took the wrong road in high school 12 years ago and spent alot of time in the clink. hes now clean and trying to get his life in order so i offered them a trip today. the day started with my dad hooking up right off the bat with broham following shortly after. this continued all day as dad went 1-3 being spooled by a super hot low teener fish and being owned by another that left him jigless. my brother started his steelhead sickness going 3-4 on nice hot fish. i got to row and tie gear all day and watch them have the time of thier life, no complaints there. highlight of the day though came when dad got spooled and i see th hi-vis line laying down the tailout of the run and my brother picked it up as we floated by and as soon as he put tension on the line the fish went nuts line burning his hand and he crackered the fish. awesome day. part 3 coming staurday

part 3 ended up staying close to home and running some skinny water in the sled, went 3-5 all downers. nice to see them in this system.
