En route to Shangri La right now...gonna be a blood bath.  This will be my first steelheading trip without a gear rod.  If you see a guy on a coastal stream tomorrow tangled in fly line...make sure you say "hi"

Oh, I'm not complaining!  My only regret is going in such a long float.  All the action was in the first mile and a half...after that it was 4 miles of barren waters.  Should have done 2 short ones. Oh well.
