Makers ... as it will forever remind me, now, of good times with Big John. His spirit will carry on though the warmth of each swill on a wet and cold trip down the Hump.

After 50 casts, Knob Creek, another 50, knob crick, another 50, nkob crik, another 25, pass the dang flask! Another 5, why am I standing in the cold again? Who drank all my booze!? Empty flasks float, rods and reels don't. Empty flasks cannot be hooked, trust me.
I like Knob Creek and after landing a fish, a cigar. I can't smoke a cigar in my buddies boat though, they are "gross", but apparently, chew isn't. Go figure.

Pendleton is the standard but sometimes I'll go with 15 or 18 y.o. Glenfiddich scotch...yum!

Occasionally I carry a flask of crown. Doesn't get touched till the first fish or the end of the day. Whichever one comes first!
