Got soaked on the river today but we loved it, what is wrong with us?  Nothing!  We brought three fish to the boat on a rapidly rising river, we were pretty happy with the effort.  Two hatchery brats bonked and one pretty native released.

As we were dripping in the truck just before we left the launch for the day my buddy said, "that was fun" and he meant it.  It struck me, as it has a few times before, that a steelheaders definition of fun is a fair bit different than most folks.

So true, Ted. It's funny how we can wade a cold river all day and love every minute of it but make all kinds of excuses why we can't repair a fence because of the rain. laugh At least our priorities are in the right place.

No pics, today?

No pics, the only camera I took with me was my iPhone and I didn't need that becoming a casualty of the rain.  Photos through a ziplock don't look that good so in the nice dry pouch it stayed.

That's right about a fence, you can't dig post holes in the rain, they fill with water.  That is an easy one.  Cleaning up the yard of all the branches that came down in the storm last week?  Harder to defend I've found, yet, I still snuck out and went fishing.  Grin

When are we going out?  I don't want to clean the yard, save me.

We've got to get out there soon! Next weeks work schedule has more holes in it than my leaky roof, and,of course, you can't work on a roof when it's raining and you don't have to when it's not. Grin
