OK You've all heard/read it before in STS: Eggs cured with garlic catch fish!  Well, its seems to be true.

 Heres how to do it:

Start with your favorite store bought cure, and a jar of garlic salt.  Cure the eggs as recomended with the exception of adding about  1 tablespoon of garlic salt to the mix, its that easy.   Heres where the advantage appears to be:  When fishing to over-fished and fish that have seen/smelled every thing else this cure kicks A@#!!  I recently (0n 10-1, and other occasions) hooked 5-1 more fish than the other folks around me using this simple cure.  And this is definately not because I know what I'm doing!!  Its all in the eggs.  This smell just seems to give them something different.   Another tip which is nothing new, however I've seen many folks lately using freezer burned eggs:  Once you have spent many hours curing your eggs only to freeze them, save yourself some hassle.  Put your eggs in a zip-loc bag and cover them generously (and I mean generously) in borax, then freeze them. If there is no egg-to-air contact it will virtually elliminate freezer burn.  This allows you to keep eggs for several years without going bad!!!  Thats my 2cents, hope it helps
