Snow on the Hoh

WWW
« Topic Start: April 09, 2008, 10:22:59 AM »

I've been asked a bit for any shuttle services that I am aware of, so I thought I'd ask you guys. If you know of any shuttle service on our rivers post them here with the river names, contact person name and phone number, rates or any other information you know about. I will compile these into a single page in the resources section of the main site. I'll start with this guy I ran into on the upper Hoh earlier this winter. I have never used him but he seemed like a nice guy:

Hoh River Shuttle
Don & JoAnn - after 6:00 A.M.
phone: 360-374-3161
cell:  360-640-9527
All upper dirfts $20.00
Oxbow - Allens  $25.00
Barlows - G & L - #30.00
Parking Fee areas - add $5.00

Road Runner:  360-374-5195  Forks area streams, and the Hoh.  I saw Road Runner listed on the "Quinault Shuttle" thread, and I'm pretty sure Road Runner does not shuttle down there.

Randy Rink:  360-962-2058  Queets

"Larry" :  360-333-7028  Skagit  Larry does not shuttle vehicles, but will pick you up at the takeout and drive you back to your rig.

I haven't used Don and JoAnn before, but I've met them a couple of times up at the Park Line and they seem like nice and responsible folk.

What a great idea for a feature, Brian....  Especially for us "tooners" who sometimes have a tough time finding a partner.  Look forward to seeing the final results.  The only shuttle I've used, and I used it a ton, was a gal named Trudy that did the Mission to BC drift shuttle.  Great gal and only 10 bucks just three or four years back.....  Not sure if she does it anymore but I'll try and dig up her #
